Biography

Born in Madrid and raised between Madrid and Ibiza, Erica Santos developed an early sensitivity to the contrast between urban life and the quieter, more elemental character of the Mediterranean.

She studied Interior design at IADE Madrid and later completed an MBA in Finance. Her career has taken her between Spain and the United States, combining a creative approach to design with a strong understanding of the business and strategic side of a project.

Before founding Studio Eleven, Erica worked at Fan Studio, where she further developed her experience in interior design and her understanding of projects from concept through execution.

More than fifteen years spent between Spain and the United States, together with extensive travel, have shaped a perspective influenced by different cultures, materials, landscapes and ways of living.

Today, through Studio Eleven, Erica brings that perspective to a highly personal approach to interior design and creative direction. Rather than following a predefined aesthetic, she looks for what is essential to each place – its architecture, its materials, its light and the way it is meant to be lived in. The result is a body of work defined not by a signature style, but by a distinct point of view: spaces with character, restraint and a strong sense of identity.
