Born in Madrid and raised between Madrid and Ibiza, Erica Santos grew up between two worlds that would profoundly shape the way she understands beauty, space, and the relationship between people and their surroundings. On one side, the cultural energy of the city; on the other, the quiet presence of nature, light, and the slower rhythm of the Mediterranean.

She studied Interior Architecture at IADE Madrid and later completed an MBA in Finance. After more than fifteen years living between Spain and the United States, and traveling extensively throughout the world, her perspective on design was enriched by different cultures, landscapes, and ways of life.

Over time, she developed a deep appreciation for spaces defined by harmony, timelessness, and material honesty. Materials that age with grace. Spaces that evoke calm. The beauty found in simplicity. A search that naturally led her to wabi-sabi, japandi, and brutalism.What began as an aesthetic influence gradually revealed itself as something far more personal: a reflection of her values, her understanding of beauty, and her relationship with the world around her.

Today, that philosophy continues to shape STUDIO ELEVEN.
